Range: From base of zone to just below top of zone (Christensen, 1995).

Biostratigraphical correlation: Equates with an interval from the middle to upper part of the B. mucronata Zone s.l.

Lithostratigraphical correlation: Equates with the top of Weybourne Chalk 3 (i.e. Catton Sponge Bed), the Beeston Chalk, and basal Paramoudra Chalk (Christensen, 1995).
