Chalk Group Lithostratigraphy: Northern England - Kiplingcotes Flints

These are three conspicuous semitabular flints, c. 0.15 m thick, the lowest of which is lenticular, the middle one distinctly carious, and the highest characterised by downward projections (Wood & Smith, 1978; Gaunt et al., 1992).
