The surfaces were generated from the structural depth contour plots. Well control was not directly used.

Surfaces modelled are (numbers relate to stratigraphic order):

Rockhead

  1. Base Permo-Trias
  2. Base Westphalian (Base Coal Measures)
  3. Base Namurian (Base Stainmore and Hensingham Groups)
  4. Base Chatburn (Parent unit is Bowland High Group, Courceyan Age (CF) — Chadian Age (CI))
  5. Top Caledonian Basement/Base Dinantian
