South-west England Chalk Group Lithostratigraphy: Jukes-Browne & Hill, 1903, 1904 - Cenomanian Limestone Bed A2

Bed A2 is typically a hard, compact, sandy, shelly limestone (Jukes-Browne & Hill, 1903).

Macrofossil Biozonation: Modern biostratigraphical studies indicate that A2 belongs to the M. mantelli Zone, M. saxbii Subzone, and locally the M. dixoni Zone (Wright & Kennedy, 1984)
