Base: Inception of Abomphalus mayaroensis and Pseudotextularia elegans (not seen onshore, but present in the North Sea Basin).

Top: Base of the Danian.

Biomarkers:

  • Rugoglobigerina rotundata is also found.

Age: Maastrichtian
