Base: Inception of Lingulogavelinella globosa.

Top: Extinction of Hagenowina advena in the base of the Plenus Marls.

Biomarkers:

  • Dicarinella hagni and Dicarinella algeriana appear in the upper part of the Zone (upper C. guerangeri macrofaunal zone).

Macrofaunal correlation: Very latest A. jukesbrownei Zone, C. guerangeri Zone and M. geslinianum Zone

Age: Mid to Late Cenomanian
