This is a collaborative project with the Edinburgh Geological Society.

Geological Walks UK

Walk through 3000 million years of geological history of the United Kingdom. Over 500 geological walks covering a few hours to full day excursions - all available for download. This is a new site created by the Edinburgh Geological Society for the UK geoscience community.

Walks required

We currently have walks covering Scotland but hope to develop partnerships with other societies and individuals. If you are interested in providing walks please contact us, we can provide conversion facilities from paper to digital.
