Biostratigraphical correlation: Equates with the M. geslinianum Zone (pars), N. juddii Zone and Mytiloides spp. Zone of current usage.

Lithostratigraphical correlation: Equates with all but the basal part of the Holywell Nodular Chalk Formation in southern England.

Age: Late Cenomanian & Early Turonian.
