For the best experience when creating, reviewing and editing pages in Earthwise<sup>TM</sup>, we recommend using a browser that is fully supported by MediaWiki. Supported browsers natively handle JavaScript formatting and advanced editing tools, including VisualEditor.


Creating, reviewing and editing pages in BritGeoWiki is much easier in Firefox or Chrome because they allow  the more advanced editorial functionality provided by the WikEd extension. Please refer to the BritGeoWiki Writers’ guide.
The following browsers and versions are fully supported:

Microsoft Edge: Chromium-based versions 79 and later.
Mozilla Firefox: The current stable version and the previous Extended Support Release (ESR) version.

Choice of browser

For the best experience when creating, reviewing and editing pages in EarthwiseTM, we recommend using a browser that is fully supported by MediaWiki. Supported browsers natively handle JavaScript formatting and advanced editing tools, including VisualEditor.
