Biostratigraphical correlation: Appears to equate with the interval from the base of the B. mucronata Zone, as currently recognised, to the top of the Chalk Group in southern England.

Lithostratigraphical correlation: Equates with all but the basal part of the Portsdown Chalk Formation in southern England.

Age: Campanian
