Outward train: Cannon Street, 1.3 p.m. ; London Bridge, 1.7 p.m. due at Gomshall 2.42 p.m, Return ticket to Gomshall, 4s. 0d.
Return train Gomshall, 7.6 p.m., due at Cannon Street 8.42 p.m.
From Gomshall Station walk eastwards by fieldpaths to Raikes Hollow, where there is a fine section of Bargate Beds and beds below. Proceed by Sutton Farm and westwards by Hoe Lane to Purser's Farm, thence by Burchetts Hollow and northwards by Lawbrook to Burrows Cross, seeing several sections in the hollow lanes described. At Burrows Cross is a good section of Folkestone Sands. Thence proceed to Drydown. After tea See sections of Folkestone Sands and beds below in the railway cutting and sections in the steep lane leading to Shere, From Shere return along, the road eastwards to Gomshall station.
