I am primarily an amateur field naturalist with specialist knowledge of some taxa but I have also studied geology whilst in higher education and retain an interest particularly but not only in the Holocene and geomorphic activity therein and in contemporary geological processes. As an FRMetS, I am particularly interested in the atmospheric effects of volcanic eruptions.
